Attorney Gilberto "The Joker" Gomez says: “We rely on local journalism to give us what we want and that’s the news. We get it in an unbiased way. I can’t say that about some of the cable news networks, but I can say it for our local stations and our local papers. I think they are doing a fantastic job and should be the model for the rest of our nation.”

At The Murphy Report we can only hope that he knows more about jurisprudence than journalism. The Brownsville Herald, The Harlingen Valley Morning Star and The McAllen Monitor are among the worst newspapers in the country.
Gomez is kissing the mainstream media's ass for a reason or he is a complete idiot. Trump wishes that these three newspapers were the models for the rest of the nation. They would condemn us to permanent ignorance and Trump could dedicate himself to his excesses with impunity.
We have noticed that Gomez has inundated the media with advertising. What is his objective besides the newspapers reciprocating with a craven article about his good heart and generous soul?
There is something fishy transpiring between Gomez and the mainstream media and it isn't the smell of rotten cunt. We praise him for his contributions to high school seniors, but we condemn him for his crass stupidity.
The Herald, Star and Monitor echo the sentiments of the status quo. They report nothing. They break nothing. They comment about nothing.
For Gomez to put them on a pedestal with a homage to their reporting may be a product of the many years he spent in the fields as a migrant worker and the sun fried his brain. The planes spraying insecticides overhead as he slumped down picking tomatoes wouldn't have helped either.
Keep an eye on this shyster. He is whispering sweet nothings into the easily seduced newspapers that out of desperation will prostitute themselves for advertising money.
Gomez wants something. Is he preparing to launch a political career? There is no question that this macho man is in love with himself.
These types are the worst kind because they demand adoration. They expect the public to feel the same way about them as they feel about themselves and they take it personally when independently minded individuals don't prove to be mirrors reflecting these egomaniac's vanity.
